Binzer Hof – Rügen

When can I check in? Your room will be available from 3:00 PM on the day of your arrival. If you arrive earlier, we’ll be happy to store your luggage at our front desk free of charge so you can start your vacation on Rügen right away. In many cases, your room will be ready as early as 2:00 PM—just give us a quick call on the day of your arrival.

By what time must the room be vacated (check-out)? We ask that you vacate the room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Late check-out is possible subject to availability and prior arrangement. Please simply contact our front desk the evening before—we’ll be happy to try to accommodate a later check-out time for you.

Does the hotel offer its own parking spaces? Yes, the hotel has a number of private parking spaces right next to the building. The fee for hotel guests is 9 EUR per night.  Alternatively, you can use an off-site parking lot, which is completely free of charge and located about a 10-minute walk away. You can drive right up to the front desk to check in, where we will welcome you and gladly take your luggage.

Are there charging stations for electric vehicles? At this time, we do not yet have our own charging stations on-site. However, modern public charging stations are located nearby in the center of Binz. Our reception team will be happy to show you the closest charging stations upon your arrival.

Where can I park my bike safely? You can park your bike or e-bike safely in our bike garage. Just ask at the front desk—they’ll give you the key.

How do I get to the hotel by public transportation? The hotel is located just about 800 meters from the “Ostseebad Binz” train station, which is a regular stop on the ICE line. It takes no more than 10 minutes to walk here. Alternatively, you can easily reach us by taking one of the taxis waiting at the station. If you have a lot of luggage, we’d be happy to arrange a taxi for you in advance upon request.

Are all rooms equipped with air conditioning? Currently, our rooms do not have air conditioning. Under normal weather conditions, the hotel remains pleasantly cool thanks to its historic architecture and high ceilings. We are happy to provide a fan upon request.

Do you offer a selection of different pillows? We’re fully prepared to ensure you enjoy a healthy and restful night’s sleep during your Baltic Sea vacation. We’re happy to provide special hypoallergenic bedding upon request. Please let us know well in advance of your arrival so our housekeeping team can prepare your room to perfectly meet your needs.

What’s in the minibar, and is it included? Our minibar offers a fine selection of refreshing, non-alcoholic beverages. What makes the Binzer Hof special: The initial stocking of the minibar is fully included in the room rate! Please let us know at the front desk if you have any special requests for snacks or regional specialties.

Is there a coffee machine in the room? Yes, all of our rooms are equipped with a high-quality Nespresso machine. A fine selection of coffee capsules is provided free of charge upon your arrival, so you can enjoy your first cup of coffee in the morning in the comfort and privacy of your room.

Are there accessible rooms? Due to the historic architecture of our building, the Binzer Hof offers limited accessibility. A modern elevator connects the floors, allowing you to easily reach our Comfort Rooms and Family Rooms. Since some rooms are particularly accessible, we ask that you contact us directly before booking if you have specific needs, so that we can reserve the most suitable room for you.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel? Out of consideration for the health and well-being of all our guests, the Binzer Hof is a completely non-smoking hotel. Smoking is therefore not permitted inside the building or in the guest rooms. However, there are comfortable, designated smoking areas available outdoors and in front of the hotel.

Which is the largest suite in the hotel? Our most spacious accommodations are our specially designed “Family Rooms,” which offer plenty of room for a family vacation. We also have an exclusive studio with a balcony. If you’d like to enjoy this special room or have plenty of space, please be sure to select these categories when booking.

When and where is breakfast served? We serve our extensive late-riser breakfast buffet daily from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in our fresh, completely redesigned breakfast area. At breakfast, we place great emphasis on freshness and variety, featuring delicious regional specialties sourced directly from the island of Rügen. Since we keep the buffet fully stocked until closing time, you can sleep in without any rush.

How much does breakfast cost? Most hotel guests book our extensive late-riser breakfast buffet as part of their stay. If you drop by on a whim or would like to have breakfast with us as a non-staying guest, we can almost always find a cozy spot for you. The price for our breakfast is 17.90 EUR. Please stop by the front desk to let us know.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options? Yes, our breakfast team is happy to accommodate your individual dietary needs. You’ll find a fine selection of vegetarian options at the buffet every day. If you follow a vegan diet or have a gluten intolerance, we’d be happy to prepare fresh vegan dishes or gluten-free baked goods for you. It’s best to let us know about this in advance or directly when you book.

What are the opening hours of the hotel’s spa? At this time, our hotel does not yet have its own wellness area. However, we have some fantastic news for you: Starting in 2027, we will be opening a completely redesigned, on-site spa at the Binzer Hof!

Are dogs allowed at the hotel? Yes, we are delighted to welcome four-legged guests. Dogs are warmly welcome in our Classic Double Rooms. Please be sure to mention your dog when making your booking so that we can prepare everything perfectly. We charge a fee of €15 per night for your dog.

Can my dog come into the restaurant? In the interest of all guests, we kindly ask that dogs are not brought into the breakfast area.

Is there a dog-friendly beach nearby? Yes, the seaside resort of Binz offers wonderful beach areas for dogs. The nearest dog-friendly beach is located toward Prora at beach access point 52, as well as at the popular Fisher’s Beach near beach access point 1. Both areas are easily and quickly accessible on foot from our hotel. We’d be happy to show you the best route there on the map.

How do I get a quote for my event? We’d be happy to provide you with a customized quote. We always offer very competitive rates for workshops and conferences. Can I rent space for workshops or conferences? We have a centrally located and very attractive event space. Depending on the seating arrangement, it comfortably accommodates about 20 people. The space is regularly used for workshops and small conferences.

Does the hotel have Wi-Fi? Yes, our high-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. The network is fast, reliable, and compatible with all your devices, so you can stay connected without any problems even while on vacation.

Can I rent bicycles at the hotel? We work with long-standing, professional partners right here in Binz. We’d be happy to arrange high-quality bicycles or modern e-bikes for you through them. Just let us know at the front desk, and we’ll take care of everything for you. We also have great maps available for your cycling trips around the island.

How far is it to the beach? Our house is located in a fantastic second-row spot, right on the beach promenade. You’re just about 30 meters from the beach entrance—so in less than a minute, you’ll be standing on the fine, white sand of Binz.
