Tips from the Team

Binz has plenty of great, cozy restaurants, especially in the summer. Looking for a gourmet dinner worthy of a Michelin star? Or perhaps something more down-to-earth with a wide selection of specialty beers? Here are our favorites.

Freustil combines excellent gourmet cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere and warm service. Awarded a Michelin star, it’s well worth a visit even for vegetarians. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience regional and contemporary cuisine at the highest level.

Smart Casual

Here you can enjoy traditional cuisine in a unique setting, complete with a view of the sea. In addition to delicious meat and fish dishes, you’ll also find a selection of vegetarian and vegan options, all in keeping with our motto: “Fine home-style cooking, generous portions, and affordable prices.”

For anyone who loves fish, Plattdüütsch is our top recommendation. This classic seafood restaurant serves regional specialties from Rügen and Vorpommern, offering you a culinary taste of the region.

Brewery Restaurant

Dolden Mädel serves craft-brewed beers paired with dishes made from regional ingredients. For example, the brewing barley comes from Rügen and is malted in Hamburg, while the beef is sourced from their own cattle and butcher shop.

Wine lovers will also find plenty to enjoy in Binz. At Monte Vino, you can choose a wine from the selection and enjoy it with antipasti and other small dishes.
